Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” John 3:5-8
I pray you give this a moment’s thought.
A thought came to me with regard to the idea of the Corona Virus behaving like the wind, with reference to Jesus’ remark to Nicodemus in John 3:5-8.
Jesus exposits the Ministry of his Salvation for mankind as likened to a wind. Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter The Kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit… (vs.5).The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So, it is with everyone born of the Spirit (vs 8).”
In my vernacular language, the word VIRUS is known as OMUYEKA which is the same term that means WIND! Comparing this to the Corona Virus, one can imagine how mysteriously it seems to infect a human body.
But one clear fact is that there has to be a CARRIER who impacts the infected person.
If we take the gospel knowledge as what has affected some of us, we should consider the capacity we have to INFECT WITH THE GOSPEL WIND, as many as we come into contact with, with this ‘VIRUS’ (OMUYEKA)!
