My name is David Omondi, and I am privileged to serve as the Projects Coordinator with The Navigators (EPTF) Kenya Trust in Eldoret. I am married to, Lucy Moraa, and together we are raising two daughters, Nia Jan Omondi and Zurielle Naava Omondi, with the prayer that their lives will reflect the grace and truth of Christ.
At the heart of our calling is a desire to see people live holistic, Christ-centered lives—lives that reflect the fullness of God’s intention for humanity. As Jesus prayed in John 17:3, “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” This verse anchors my mission: to help individuals and communities know God deeply and live out their faith practically.
In my role at EPTF, I coordinate projects that empower teenagers, young adults, small-scale businesspeople, and farmers. Together with my wife and daughters, we engage these groups with the hope of transforming lives through biblical truth, practical skills, and relational discipleship. We walk alongside teenagers navigating identity and purpose, linking them to opportunities that align with their God-given potential. We equip businesspeople with knowledge and tools that lead to transformed mindsets and sustainable livelihoods through their businesses, and we support small-scale farmers in stewarding their land and resources for both provision and community flourishing.
Our work is deeply rooted in the Navigators Core Values, including:
- The passion to know, love, and become like Jesus Christ.
- The truth and sufficiency of the Scriptures for the whole of life.
- The transforming power of the Gospel.
- Families and relational networks in discipling the nations.
- Love and grace expressed among us in community.
These values guide our approach as we build resilient, Christ-anchored communities that reflect the Kingdom of God in every sphere of life. We believe in the power of life-on-life discipleship, where transformation happens not just through teaching, but through shared life, mutual encouragement, and Spirit-led growth.
As Hebrews 10:24 exhorts us, “Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” This is our heartbeat at EPTF—cultivating a movement of people who live out their faith in tangible, impactful ways.
Ultimately, I see my role not just as a coordinator of projects, but as a Kingdom labourer, advancing the Gospel through spiritual generations of leaders, entrepreneurs, and farmers who are rooted in Christ and committed to His mission
