Navigators Church Ministries (NCM) – formerly Church Discipleship Ministry – is a ministry of the Navigators Kenya that is committed to serving local churches and church-related institutions in fulfilling their God-given mission of making disciples.
NCM’s burden is to help churches move from making a few disciples to becoming intentional disciple making churches. Navigators Kenya staff and ministry partners across this country are devoted to developing generations of disciples in everyday life where they live, work, play, and worship.
NCM’s mission is based upon 2 Timothy 2:2 where Paul writes, “And the things you have you heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.”
HOW WE DO IT
Small Groups Ministries
We help churches to initiate small group bible studies. Where the small groups exist, we add value through in-house tailored training.
Spiritual Maturity
This is achieved through helping various church groups acquire appropriate discipleship materials and train church members on how to facilitate the growth of disciples.
Outreach
We help small groups in churches to shift from inward to outward in terms of ministry focus by helping them to develop mission expressions that suit their contexts.
Conferences
We have two major conferences per annum. The first conference is for bible study facilitators. Here participants exchange ideas and their experiences and benefit from speakers during the plenary sessions. The second is held towards the last quarter of the year and is open to anyone who is interested in facilitation of a bible study.
